Victory Baptist Academy, a ministry of Victory Baptist Church, began in 2007 as a result of a direct burden laid on the heart of Dr. Charles Wetherbee. Dr. Wetherbee had sought the face of Lord for several years before venturing on this new task. After much prayer, and a peace from the Lord, Dr. Wetherbee brought the vision of starting a Christian school before the church as another facet of Victory Baptist Church’s ministry of “Building Families By The Book.” After a unanimous vote in favor for the school, plans were made and carried out to establish Victory Baptist Academy.
The Patriot was chosen as the representative symbol of Victory Baptist Academy because it gives a true description of the Christian walk. A Patriot not only loves his country, but is loyal to it. A Patriot is honest, hardworking, and values Christian principles. As Victory Baptist Academy Patriots, we will strive to not only teach our children traditional American values, but we will train our children to live out those values through a Godly, Christian walk.
